Fifth Street Shelter Ministries’ Open Door Clinic has been serving indigent individuals for 14 years.
Now the clinic has a new name and new management, but it still offers similar services.
Five months ago, the clinic’s name changed to Statesville Family Medicine. The Shelton Avenue clinic is operated by Gaston Family Health Services.
“We are providing a more comprehensive service and providing an integrated care model,” said Robert Spencer, executive director of Gaston Family Health Services.
