Caswell Family Medical Centers Receives Funds for Renovations

Caswell Family Medical is one of many community health centers receiving funds from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to help upgrade their existing facilities with repairs and renovations. In addition to funds from HRSA, Caswell Family Medical Center received an additional $186,035 from the Danville Regional Foundation.

Shirley Deal, CFMC Executive Director, said, "The renovation and expansion project was rated as a top priority in the organization's Strategic Plan developed in 2008. Thanks to the support of the Danville Regional Foundation and HRSA's funding through the Stimulus Package, the project will become a reality sooner than projected. Upon completion, the facility will provide much needed space for better assessments, treatments, and outcomes."
